Mohammed Idriss was part of the team that worked on launching the BCIS project. He has been the Service Manager since that time. Originally from Ethiopia, he moved to Brooks in 2006. He has multiple degrees and certificates from Canada and abroad, and he is a level three (3) certified Settlement Practitioner with the Alberta Association of Immigrants Serving Agencies (AAISA).
Mohammed enjoys traveling with his family and has visited, or lived in, over twenty countries in four (4) different continents. With his roots firmly planted in Brooks, he enjoys and appreciates what the area has to offer him, his wife and their young daughter, Noor.
